GRP Handrail

GRP Handrails offer a long-lasting alternative to steel versions and boast inherent advantages. In addition to the high strength and stability you’d expect from any handrail or fencing, composite versions are lightweight, making them easier to install.

The material is weather-resistant, corrosion and chemical resistant and self-coloured – so never fades or needs painting. It’s low thermal conductivity means it doesn’t get too hot – even in direct sunlight – and it has no recycle value so won’t appeal to opportunistic scrap metal thieves.

We offer two GRP Handrail systems: SafeRail and SafeClamp, which can both be fitted with Kick Plate and infill mesh

Edge Protection where you need it

Our GRP Handrail Systems can be used for secure edge protection on rooftops, walkways and platforms, to alert or guide people away from hazardous areas in factories, depots and building sites or to help with crowd control in railway stations and airports. Made from pultruded GRP profiles in grey or yellow, both systems are flexible enough to go around any shape and have numerous optional extras including infill panels, solar lighting, self-closing gates, removable sections and extra mid-rails.
